Who We Are

The company was established in March 2009 by Andy Rollinson (Bsc.Hons Dip TP MRTPI) a Chartered Town Planner with well over thirty years' experience.

Andy is Yorkshire born and bred and despite doing his degree and post graduate studies in Birmingham returned home soon after. He has much experience of planning in the Yorkshire and Humber region especially and a very strong contact base having worked for Harrogate, Craven and Calderdale Councils before moving into the private sector with first Clive Brook Associates in Leeds and then being a Director of Turley Associates in its Leeds office for almost ten years.

Andy has a very wide range of experience and is particular adept at planning application and appeal work. He has worked on projects for, amongst others, Taylor Wimpey, AMCO Developments, BUPA, Spire Healthcare, The Black Sheep Brewery, The Gregory Property Group, Farm Foods, Country & Metropolitan Homes, Barnsley Borough Council, KJM Developments, Grantside Limited, Barratt Homes and CALA Homes as well as undertaking numerous application and appeal projects for landholders, private individuals and smaller companies through local architects and solicitors.

No matter what the scale of the job the approach is the same; sound and honest advice even if that advice means telling people not to progress matters and "save their brass". For this reason alone much of his work has come through referrals for many years and continues to do so.

The ethics of the company are very much based upon value for money and are sustainability led with no reliance on expensive City Centre offices, company cars and support staff. In turn all of these savings are passed onto clients. This low cost approach has no bearing at all on the quality of the advice or upon work done; it is simply a case of paying for what is needed without all "the trimmings".

The company´s values are reflected in its ongoing financial support of The Otley Food Bank.
